A trip to Morocco and an opportunity to experience the desert on camelback has long been a dream. When we found the website for Berber Tours, we knew it was exactly what we wanted. Our first week during our 4x4 tour with Daoud was amazing. We traveled on roads that were non-existent and saw things that most tourists don't see. We planned our itinerary with the help of Berber Tours and then they did the rest. The meals and hotels were great. Moroccan food is delicious! This didn't change when we reached M'Hamid and headed into the desert with our two young men and our three camels. Imagine sitting on a sand dune watching the sunset and sipping peppermint tea while bread is baking in the sand and Hamed is preparing a tagine for dinner. One evening as we camped at an oasis, we were joined by a Nomad who shared our meal! Our one regret was that we didn't have a tape recorder to record the vocal styling of the camels. It was a wonderful experience, with a very capable young company, in a very beautiful country.
