Berber Tours has designed a set of private tours that we call "Rucksack Adventures." As the name implies, these are primarily intended to be light adventure trips. Participants are encouraged to travel light and be ready to experience Moroccan culture more intimately than a typical bus sight-seeing excursion. Travel is by private, air-conditioned vehicle, either a Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 or more than one 4x4, depending on the number of people on that particular private tour. On some of our tours, participants have the opportunity to travel by alternate modes of transportation, such as mule or camel trekking.

Accommodations are generally in respectable tourist class hotels and pensions versus top of the line hotels. In tours that involve more rustic lodging such as Bedouin tents, all camping gear and necessary equipment is provided. We believe the best way to see Morocco should include the opportunity to meet and interact with its people.
